Top International Players Competing Now Through January 29, 2023

 The Dania Beach Invitational – 2022 -2023 Jai-Alai Tournament, which features 20 of the world’s top Jai-Alai players, has returned to the Fronton at The Casino @ Dania Beach with elite athletes competing for glory and prize money now through January 29, 2023.

Dubbed the fastest moving ball sport in the world by Guinness World Records, premier Jai-Alai talent from the Basque region of Spain and France have returned to Dania Beach, home of the last remaining full-court regulation Jai-Alai Fronton in the United States.

The Dania Beach Invitational – 2022-2023 Jai-Alai Tournament is structured into 25 rounds with players competing for top rank to qualify for the quarter-final, semi-final and final rounds in January. The final head-to-head matches will take place Thursday, January 26 and Friday, January 27, 2023, with play continuing throughout the weekend.

“Week one of the competition showed a lot of promise. The young prospects competing in this tournament are very evenly matched.”

“I am looking forward to the elimination matches in January. It very well might be some of the best Jai-Alai we will see here in Dania Beach,” said Benny Bueno, Jai-Alai Player Manager at The Casino @ Dania Beach.

Admission to the Fronton to watch the Jai-Alai tournament will remain free and allows access to the Champions Corner where guests can purchase food and refreshments along with commemorative Jai-Alai merchandise. Fans who wish to wager will have the opportunity to do so in person, as traditional parimutuel betting will be offered.

The tournament consists of nine games every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evening, and nine games every Saturday and Sunday afternoon.
