NAIOP South Florida Announces 2023 Officers, Executive Board and Board of Directors

2023 Economic Outlook Program set for January 26 at The Westin Fort Lauderdale

NAIOP South Florida, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association, has named its officers for the 2023 Board of Directors and announces the first event of the New Year, the 2023 Economic Outlook Program, which will take place on January 26, 2023 at The Westin Fort Lauderdale.

The 2023 Board of Directors include:

  • President is Dan Cioci, Risk Strategies Company Senior Vice President
  • President-Elect is David Bateman, CBRE Managing Director
  • Treasurer is Evan Brody, Brody & Associates Managing Shareholder
  • Secretary is Lauren Pace, Colliers Senior Director

“South Florida continues to enjoy sustained commercial real estate expansion, despite market fluctuations and fears of recession,” said Dan Cioci. “I’m extremely honored to join my esteemed colleagues and fellow board members as we plan exciting events and initiatives that will positively impact our South Florida commercial real estate community.”

NAIOP South Florida events planned for the first quarter of 2023 include:

  • 2023 Economic Outlook Program will be held on Thursday, January 26 from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at The Westin Fort Lauderdale, located at 400 Corporate Drive in Fort Lauderdale. Hosted by Marcus & Millichap and moderated by Marcus & Millichap First Vice President and District Manager Ryan Nee, the Outlook 2023 Program will present insights and predictions for the New Year from an esteemed panel of experts including: Marcus & Millichap Research Services Senior Vice President John Chang; CHRONOS Underwriters CEO John Allen; FirstPointe Advisors Managing Partner Brian DePotter; and Itasca Construction Associates Vice President Sandra Pabon. The morning will begin with breakfast and networking followed by the panel discussion. Tickets are $55 for NAIOP members and $65 for non-members.   • Miami-Dade County Bus Tour will take place on Thursday, February 9, guided tour by commercial real estate professionals.
