BankUnited Brand Awareness Boosts Business

Working on behalf of longtime client BankUnited, Pierson Grant leverages targeted opportunities to keep the bank top-of-mind with prospective and existing clients, build upon its business momentum in target markets and within key market segments, and reinforce the message that BankUnited is a relationship-driven bank uniquely positioned to serve the banking needs of small businesses, middle-market companies, large corporations and institutions throughout its geographic footprint.

To highlight the bank’s position as the leading small business and commercial bank, as well as a champion of women- and minority-owned businesses, Pierson Grant conceived the BankUnited Small Business Big Dreams Women in Business Challenge & Summit, a signature annual event held during National Women’s Small Business Month in October.

This two-part program features a business competition and summit that gives eligible women business owners the opportunity to pitch their business, receive critical feedback from business banking experts, win a grant to help grow their business, and network with some of the region’s most notable and successful women business leaders during a day of learning.

The program’s success has contributed to increased brand awareness for BankUnited among its target audiences and helped to establish the bank’s record of goodwill in the communities where it does business.

In addition, BankUnited’s signature program created a strong and supportive community of like-minded women business owners who credit BankUnited for the invaluable connections they’ve made through their participation in this signature annual event.
