BankUnited Holds Back-to-School Drive to Benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters Organizations Around Florida

MIAMI LAKES, Fla.  – With back-to-school around the corner, BankUnited is partnering with Big Brothers Big Sisters organizations around Florida to collect much needed backpacks and school supplies for children and teens.

Throughout July, BankUnited will hold a backpack and school supply drive at its Florida branches. Anyone wishing to donate school supplies may drop off items during branch hours.  For branch locations and hours please visit www.BankUnited.com and click the ATM/branch locator tab.

Suggested items include: backpacks, binders, calculators, colored pencils, compasses, composition books, crayons, erasers, glue sticks, highlighters, index cards, loose-leaf paper, markers, notebooks, pencil cases, pencils, sharpeners, pens, pocket folders, protractors, rulers, safety scissors, spiral notebooks and tissues.
