BankUnited Holds Toy Drive to Bring Holiday Cheer To Patients at Arnold Palmer Hospital For Children

ORLANDO, Fla. (November 19, 2014) – With hopes of brightening the holidays for the young patients at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, BankUnited is holding a toy drive at its five Orlando-area branches now through December 17 to help stock Santa’s workshop, ensuring that every child in the hospital on Christmas day receives a gift.

“Hospital employees really go above and beyond to spread holiday cheer to the more than 250 children hospitalized or in the emergency room on Christmas Day,” said Michael McClanahan, BankUnited senior vice president and Central Florida market executive. “BankUnited is happy to do what we can to bring smiles to these young patients’ faces and joy to their hearts.”
