Children’s Diagnostic & Treatment Center Presents 15th Annual Ribbons for the Children Art Exhibit & Auction

In support of children and families with special healthcare needs, Children’s Diagnostic & Treatment Center (CDTC) will host the 15th Annual Ribbons for the Children on Thursday, September 23 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Galleria in Fort Lauderdale.

Guests will enjoy a fabulous selection of wines and passed hors d’oeuvres from Galleria’s premier restaurants, such as Cooper’s Hawk, as well as other local restaurants and have the opportunity to bid on original work created and donated by talented local artists. This year’s art exhibition will feature both a silent and online auction.

“We are proud that 100% of proceeds from the art auction directly support CDTC’s programs and services for the children and families in our community,” said Chuck Williams, event founder and co-chair. “We are incredibly grateful to all the local artists who continue to come back each year and for the new artists who generously donate their time and talent to support the mission of CDTC.”

Ribbons for the Children has evolved and expanded from a predominately HIV-centric awareness event to include a focus on the numerous severe health conditions CDTC patients face every day.

“The children and families at CDTC face incredible health obstacles. Ribbons for the Children is a special evening which raises much-needed funds for them and generates awareness for CDTC,” said Maria Pierson, event co-chair and CEO of Pierson Grant Public Relations. “We are thrilled with our new location at Galleria and the new experiences we’ll offer our guests. This is a tremendous opportunity for them to take home beautiful, affordable artwork while at the same time supporting the most vulnerable in our community who receive outstanding and critical medical, dental and care coordination services at CDTC.”

Tickets are available for presale purchase of $75 before September 1. Tickets are $100 after September 1 at childrensdiagnostic.com/ribbons-for-the-children/
