Children’s Harbor Hosts Holidays with the Harbor

Children’s Harbor is kicking off a December to remember with Holidays at the Harbor, a week of virtual festive and fun holiday activities for family, friends, colleagues and more. The schedule of FREE virtual events includes:

  • Thursday, December 3 at 6 p.m.Virtual Gingerbread House Workshop

Join Children’s Harbor and Local 10 news anchor Eric Yutzy virtually for the ultimate family-friendly holiday event with tips and tricks on how to build the perfect gingerbread house. Additionally, participants can submit a photo of their gingerbread house for a chance to win $500. The cost to submit is $20.   • Tuesday, December 8 at 6 p.m.Virtual Holiday Cooking Party

Children’s Harbor is hosting a virtual holiday cooking party with Shooters Waterfront. Led by Shooters’ Culinary Director James Cawley, participants will learn how to make delicious appetizers and cocktails for their upcoming COVID-friendly holiday parties.   • Thursday, December 10 at 6 p.m.Virtual Holiday Centerpiece Creations Workshop

Children’s Harbor, in partnership with the renowned Dalsimer Atlas, will be hosting an interactive centerpiece creations workshop virtually.   • Saturday, December 12 at 5:30 p.m. – Virtual Winterfest Viewing Party

Holidays with the Harbor will culminate with the Children’s Harbor’s 9th Annual Winterfest Boat Parade virtual viewing party. Beginning at 5:30 p.m. with opening remarks by Children’s Harbor CEO Tiffani Dhooge, the event will provide a social gathering to kick off the “Best of the Parades” special on WSVN-TV. The winner of the gingerbread house decorating contest will be announced and guests will have the opportunity to participate in the Holiday Jam After Party with Mike Sipe Entertainment.
