Coral Springs, Fla. (November 4, 2014) –Doris Italian Market & Bakery, a premiere specialty supermarket serving South Florida communities, is hosting a Thanksgiving Food & Wine Tasting beginning at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, November 14 at the Coral Springs location, 2077 N. University Drive.
A portion of proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the Lisa Boccard Breast Cancer Fund, a nonprofit organization that provides breast care to women in the community who are financially unable to obtain screening mammograms and advanced high quality breast imaging and biopsies. The $29.95 ticket includes admission and a $10 store credit.
“This event is the perfect opportunity for Doris Italian Market & Bakery to kick off the holiday season and promote a significant cause such as breast cancer beyond National Breast Cancer Awareness Month,” said John Alfano, president of Doris Italian Market & Bakery. “The holidays are a great time of year to give back to the local community and we hope to have a full house here that night, not only enjoy the food and wines of the season, but also to raise money for the Lisa Boccard Breast Cancer Fund.”
The event will showcase exclusive storewide shopping and discounts on more than 100 wines, carefully selected to pair with Thanksgiving Dinner, alongside a full buffet showcasing Holiday Turkey packages. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the Doris Market in Coral Springs and Sunrise locations and will also be available for purchase at the door the night of the event.
