Eisinger, Brown, Lewis, Frankel & Chaiet to host free board certification course

HOLLYWOOD, FLA. – (October 8, 2014) – The law firm of Eisinger, Brown, Lewis, Frankel Chaiet, P.A. will host a free board certification course for condominium and HOA board members as well as property managers. The educational program will be held at ArtServe located at 1350 E. Sunrise Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale on Monday, November 17 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.

Attorney Dennis J. Eisinger, managing partner of Eisinger, Brown, Lewis, Frankel & Chaiet, P.A., will lead the DBPR-approved board certification course. The complimentary course will review recent legislative changes affecting condominium and homeowner associations, explain the role of fiduciary duties and guide board members through the applicable statutes and rules governing community associations in Florida. This course fulfills community association board member State certification requirements (Section 718.112(2)(d)(4) and 720.3033(1)).

“This board certification course is an ideal introduction for new board members and a great review for anyone who has previously served on a board. There have been many recent legislative changes and it’s vital for boards to abide by these new regulations,” said Dennis Eisinger, who also teaches a Condominium and Community Development Law class as an Adjunct Law Professor at the University of Florida School of Law. “This will be the first of a series of free seminars our law firm plans on sponsoring over the next few months which will discuss a variety of subjects pertaining to condominium and home owner association laws and other topical issues.”
