Excel Construction of Florida has completed construction of a commercial logistics transfer terminal in Palm Beach County, which includes 34,500 sq. ft. of warehouse and office space in Riviera Beach and within close proximity to Port of Palm Beach.
Owner and commercial real estate developer, The Easton Group, hired Excel Construction to develop warehouses and offices on nine acres of land at 1463-1481 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, along the Florida East Coast railroad tracks.
Highly regarded for its innovative design capabilities and impeccable project management, Excel Construction of Florida produces high quality Class A industrial, commercial and office space across the southeastern U.S., making the company a natural fit for this project.
“This is one of the projects that marks our expansion into Palm Beach County and beyond,” said Eric Wolf, president of Excel Construction. “The logistics transfer terminal not only brings additional jobs to the area, but also signals an increase in commercial trade. The demand for industrial and warehouse space seems to be outpacing that of traditional office space.”
From start to finish, the buildings and surrounding landscaping were completed from the ground up on time and within budget. The Excel Construction of Florida team was led by Project Manager Ralph Echeverria and Superintendent Danny Toche.
The new ground-up industrial buildings are comprised of 31,500 sq. ft. of warehouse space, 3,000 sq. ft. of office space and feature 61 exterior docks. Designed by Cornerstone Architects, the project was completed in late February 2024.
With a diversified portfolio of industrial, Class A, commercial, manufacturing, distribution and retail projects, Excel Construction is also driven to support family and community. Excel supports education, children, families and the environment, allocating funding each year to sponsor non-profits and donates time to various civic initiatives. Among the organizations Excel Construction supports in Palm Beach County are the Max M. Fisher Boys & Girls Club in Riviera Beach and the FLITE Center.
