First Live Concert in Broward County Scheduled for October 3 at The Casino @ Dania Beach

Reopening certificate issued to Stage 954 concert venue

Stage 954, the live entertainment venue inside The Casino @ Dania Beach has been issued its reopening certificate by Broward County in accordance with the State of Florida and the CDC guidelines. The venue’s first live concert since the start of the coronavirus shutdown, Absolute Queen, is set for Saturday, October 3 doors open at 7 p.m. and the concert begins at 8 p.m.

“Our team is extremely excited and optimistic about resuming live performances at Stage 954 and supporting these musicians,“ said Arnaldo Suarez, CEO of The Casino @ Dania Beach. “We have made the necessary adjustments to safely reopen and we’re working hard on a return to the quality programming we are known for.”

Seating inside Stage 954 is limited to 226, including seven VIP tables. VIP Tables are $30 per seat for tables of four. Tier 1 tickets are $10. Tier 2 tickets are $8. Tickets go on sale September 8.

“The response from our loyal fans who have been craving quality live entertainment has been phenomenal,” said Joe Eshkenazi, Senior Entertainment & Events Manager of The Casino @ Dania Beach. “Our VIP tables sold out and dozens of tickets were purchased within the first few hours when advanced tickets went on sale.  We have a tremendous schedule of top acts lined-up for this fall which will be announced very soon.”

Absolute Queen has spent hundreds of hours in the studio studying Queen’s many layered harmony vocals and instrumentation to deliver the most authentic sounding Queen experience.

Health Safety at The Casino @ Dania Beach

To combat the spread of the novel coronavirus, The Casino @ Dania Beach has implemented numerous precautionary and enhanced safety measures to keep patrons and staff safe.

There is one main point of entry at the fronton entrance by the guest parking lot. Guests are required to show their Players Card or photo ID. Prior to entering, guests are required to pass through a thermal body imaging camera and anyone with a temperature above 100.3 will not be allowed to enter. Staff and guests are required to wear a face mask at all times.

  • An adjusted seating map inside Stage 954 was created to accommodate the guidelines set by the state of Florida, Broward County and the CDC limiting capacity well below the 50% requirement.
  • Spaced apart guest queues at Stage 954 entrance with visible floor markers placed six feet apart.
  • Clean and sanitize every Stage 954 table and seat immediately after the conclusion of every event.
  • Restroom attendants continuously cleaning and sanitizing during Stage 954 event hours.
  • Increased stock of cleaning and disinfecting solution on property for all team members to use, as necessary.
  • Hand sanitizing stations available at the Stage 954 entrance, inside restrooms and near Stage 954 concession stands.
  • Guests are only permitted to eat and drink while seated.
  • Dedicated cleaning ambassadors, wearing easily identifiable uniforms, continuously disinfect and sanitize all areas of the facility.
  • Slot machines have limited capacity and are spaced out so players will be at least six feet apart.
  • The Grill restaurant and upstairs bar have plexiglass partitions and one primary point of sale to place all food and beverage orders.
