Funding Arts Broward (FAB) awarded $387,000 in grants to 37 Broward County-based arts and cultural programs during its 2027 Grant Cycle Awards Ceremony, reinforcing the organization’s commitment to a thriving local arts scene.

Held April 28 at the Pompano Beach Cultural Center, the lively reception was co-hosted by 2027 Grant Committee Co-Chairs Katie Adler and Anna Sorenson. The event brought together grant recipients, donors and arts advocates for an evening of cocktails, light bites and live performances by select grantees, including the Art Prevails Project, which showcased students supported through FAB’s Arts Access initiative in partnership with the Community Foundation of Broward.

“FAB continues to support a rich and diverse arts community,” said Jennifer O’Flannery Anderson, Ph.D., president of Funding Arts Broward. “Our record-setting funding rate reflects a more transparent and balanced review process that values both artistic excellence and meaningful educational impact.”

FAB achieved a 97% funding rate this cycle, awarding nearly all approved requests and marking the highest funding level per grantee in its 23-year history.
