“An incredible amount of planning and resources went into this revitalization project, so we’re extremely excited to introduce the finished product to prospective businesses that are interested in relocating to South Florida and Boca Raton, specifically,” said Partner Mark Corlew.

The adjacent 88,000-square-foot 1499 Palmetto Central office building was newly rebranded in April 2018, with significant renovations that included a new contemporary sunlit lobby, redesigned bathrooms and common areas and state-of-the-art elevators and mechanical systems. With comprehensive tenant packages that include high-end interior buildouts and offices with floor-to-ceiling windows, the reimagined building immediately attracted well-respected global and national companies including Hair Club for Men, Gilbane Building Company and Texas Instruments. Grover Corlew also chose the 1499 Palmetto Central building from among the many other offices in its management portfolio, to relocate its headquarters, unveiling a sleek and sophisticated new office environment for its rapidly expanding business needs.

“Palmetto Central is the newest, most current, highest quality office complex in the area with a coveted location immediately east of I-95 and within minutes of the new Boca Raton Brightline station,” Corlew added.

The $60 million full-scale redevelopment of 1489 and 1499 West Palmetto Park Road will include additional enhancements in the future to fully complete the transformation of the antiquated office properties into signature Grover Corlew Class A buildings.

“The demand for office space in downtown Boca Raton is high right now as companies continue to seek centralized South Florida locations to do business, and there isn’t much available in terms of modern Class A office space,” said Partner Anuj Grover. “Palmetto Central fills this void and offers businesses the best in class. Including improvements that meet Green Building Standards, we spared no expense with Palmetto Central’s property upgrades from the addition of high-quality impact glass to VRF custom HVAC systems. We paid close attention to every detail.”

Centrally located immediately east of I-95 on Palmetto Park Road, Palmetto Central is within close proximity to numerous upscale retail and dining venues, Town Center at Boca Raton, Mizner Park, world-class golf courses, country clubs and hotels, FAU and Lynn University as well as the new Brightline station. Leasing packages include high-quality buildouts, floor-to-ceiling windows, building signage for full floor users, 5:1,000 structured parking and a planned amenity package.
