Inter Miami players visit Baptist Health Miami Cancer Institute to deliver Totes for Hope comfort bags to children, adults undergoing treatment
AutoNation, America’s most admired automotive retailer, and Inter Miami CF recently teamed up to deliver Totes for Hope comfort bags to children and adults undergoing treatment at Baptist Health Miami Cancer Institute.
The specially designed Totes for Hope filled with comfort items were delivered by Inter Miami goalkeeper Drake Callender and midfielder Franco Negri. Also in attendance were Lisa Esparza, AutoNation Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resource Officer, Inter Miami CF Vice President of Partnerships Nicolò Zini and Baptist Health Miami Cancer Institute surgical breast oncologists Dr. Gladys Giron and Dr. Cristina Lopez-Penalver.
Held recently, AutoNation’s annual DRV PNK Across America Day gathered Associates from coast to coast to assemble thousands of Totes for Hope that are being delivered to cancer treatment facilities in their communities.
Each year, AutoNation Associates participate in charitable initiatives that help drive cancer awareness and support the fight against the disease. Together with Customers and community partners, Associates have helped AutoNation raise and donate over $35 million to drive out cancer since 2013. Funds are administered to facilities and organizations across the country to support cancer research, treatment, and services where they are most needed.
