Introducing “Everyone Under the Sun” to Visit Lauderdale

Tourism and hospitality have long been central to our region’s economy. Pierson Grant helped to strategically introduce Visit Lauderdale’s new brand campaign “Everyone Under the Sun” to a local, regional and global travel and trade audience. Whether through prime positioning in the media, leveraging exposure through event-specific activations, interviews with executives or managing social media influencers, we’ve successfully elevated awareness of Greater Fort Lauderdale as the destination of choice for both tourists, meeting planners and other diverse travelers.

As locals, Pierson Grant professionals also have the inside track on how to best publicize the unique offerings of Broward County’s 31 unique municipalities and share their impactful stories with a global audience.

Our solid media relationships and longstanding connections with key partners in the convention, marine, hotel and restaurant and bar scene have laid a solid foundation for maximum exposure.  Our contribution is evident in the results:  Greater Fort Lauderdale’s tourism industry has experienced double digit percentile spikes in hotel revenue and airport arrivals.

As an economic engine for Broward County, tourism employs approximately 93,000 people and, in 2022, generated almost $127 million in annual tax revenue, with tourist development tax revenues increasing by almost 30 percent year-over-year.
