SUNRISE, Fla.—(BUSINESS WIRE)—Only two weeks remain to enter the “Here’s Me Debt Free” video contest running online at americandebtcounseling.org/heresmedebtfree in which consumers are vying to reduce or eliminate their credit card debt.
The non-profit credit counselors at American Debt Counseling behind the contest invite consumers to submit a funny, creative video portraying how they would feel if they were debt free. There will be one grand prize valued at up to $5,000 and two runners-up prizes totaling up to $1,500 in credit card payments.
Anyone 18 years or older living in the US with an excess of $500 in credit card debt is invited to use a camcorder, camera or mobile device to record a video clip three minutes or less. Videos will be judged on originality, creativity, adherence to theme and number of page views generated.
The contest runs through July 31, 2010. Winning videos will be announced in September and available for online viewing at americandebtcounseling.org/heresmedebtfree and on the American Debt Counseling Facebook page.
