NAIOP South Florida has named Lauren Pace, a leasing associate for Sunbeam Properties and Development at the Miramar Park of Commerce, “Member of the Year.” The announcement was made during the organization’s virtual Awards of Excellence.
“Lauren takes an active role with NAIOP South Florida,” said NAIOP South Florida Executive Director Jules R. She does what it takes to get the job done and does so with a smile on her face.”
Pace is part of the team that oversees leasing and tenant relations for the Miramar Park of Commerce, South Florida’s largest locally owned and managed business park with
more than 5 million square feet of office, industrial and flex space and home to more than 180 national and international companies with 10,000 employees. Since joining Sunbeam in 2015, Pace has helped facilitate more than 3.7 million sq. ft. in lease transactions, generating more than $186 million in revenue at the Miramar Park of Commerce.
“Lauren is an integral part of South Florida’s commercial real estate community and a valued associate here at the Park,” said Sunbeam Properties Vice President Maridee Bell. “She is not afraid to take on new projects and assume a leadership role. We are so proud of her accomplishments.”
Each year Pace represents Sunbeam at the conclusion of Hangin’ with 5-0, an annual summer camp that bridges the gap between police and at-risk youth in Miramar. In addition, she organizes the Sunbeam Polar Express, a procession of vehicles traveling the Park collecting thousands of holiday toy donations for underserved children in Miramar and pediatric patients at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital.
A resident of Aventura, Pace is also an active member of Future of Real Estate and South Florida Office Brokers Association.
