Yachting leader has great expectations for growth of latest program
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Yacht service is a mainstay within South Florida’s marine industry and one of the State’s strongest economic drivers. Denison’s Service Division, strategically located in Fort Lauderdale at Marina Bay on the New River, has grown quickly since 2011 thanks to a dedicated and well-trained team. There are now 15 yachts in the company’s service program including many models from Beneteau Powerboats ranging from 28 feet to 76 feet; Austin Parker; Greenline Hybrid; Monte Carlo Yachts and Buddy Davis. Denison Yacht Sales formed its Service Division following the company’s 2011 appointment as an official dealer for Beneteau Powerboats to handle the new yachts that it took into stock. Led by Service Manager, Gilles Milon, Denison’s Service Division manages all warranty, commissioning, inventory, upkeep and service programs for all new boat lines that it represents.
“The Denison Service Division has been successful through our high level of client service and expert knowledge,” said Milon. “We’ve become very busy and have great expectations for future growth.”
Denison’s Service Division stays up-to-date with routine maintenance in a very timely manner through its mobile program, Vessel Vanguard, which notifies the service team and the boat’s owner when a service appointment is due. Vessel Vanguard offers boaters a worry-free experience and allows the service team to be immediately responsive.
Other members of the Denison Yacht Sales Service Division team include service assistant, Sidney Ambroise and purchasing and warranty claims manager, Andy Landis. An additional full time crew of yacht detailers maintain the inventory with daily wash downs and megayacht-level maintenance. They are actively seeking to add to the growing service team, including new positions for detailers as well as an additional technician.
