The Dairy Queen® System Celebrates 11-12-13

Couples who get married on this date can receive a DQ® Cake

MINNEAPOLIS – June is typically the most popular month to tie the knot; however, many couples are choosing to capitalize on something more memorable: a consecutive numerical date.

Tues., Nov. 12, 2013, which is 11-12-13, is one of the last times this century that a date will be in numerical order. To celebrate, the Dairy Queen® system is offering couples who get married on that day a $30 gift card to purchase a DQ® Cake. Couples must send in their marriage certificate dated 11-12-13 along with their contact information via email to DairyQueen@piersongrant.com or fax to 954-776-0290. It must be received by midnight on November 30, 2013.

“We want to be part of the everyday celebrations of our fans and getting married is one of life’s big moments,” said Barry Westrum, executive vice president of Marketing for American Dairy Queen Corporation (ADQ). “Congratulations to those who have chosen this unique date to get married. We know the celebration will be sweeter with America’s favorite cake.”
