In his new position, Goycochea will oversee media relations for international, national and regional companies. He will focus on executing communication and marketing plans and media relations campaigns in Spanish and in English.

Most recently, Goycochea was an account executive for Consultandes, a public relations agency and affiliate of Ketchum International in Peru. In 2012, he was promoted to project coordinator and supervised successful public relations campaigns for top clients such as Scotiabank, AMD and Epson. He previously served as a public relations assistant for Grupo ATV, one of the top three television networks in Peru.
A native of Peru, Goycochea began his career in library development as an Assistant for the Director of Development at the University of Miami Libraries, where he was responsible for membership services and event planning for the Friends of the Libraries group. Goycochea graduated from the University of Miami with a B.A. in advertising and Spanish, as well as an M.A. in public relations. He is a resident of Coconut Creek.
