Pierson Grant Public Relations Names Diana Hanford Vice President

Pierson Grant Public Relations has announced the promotion of Diana Hanford to vice president of the firm and member of its management committee. Since joining Pierson Grant in 2013 as senior account director, Hanford has managed integrated marketing campaigns for high-profile clients in the hospitality, real estate, legal, healthcare and non-profit sectors.

Hanford’s prior experience includes more than 10 years in the television and cable industry, where she served as media relations manager for Fox Sports Florida and Sun Sports, supervising media relations for the two networks’ statewide live broadcasts of six professional sports franchises and in-studio shows. She began her career working for Paxson Communications where she helped launch Ion TV, a national television network.

Actively involved in the community, Hanford is a volunteer Transformer with Children’s Diagnostic & Treatment Center, member of Riverwalk Trust, volunteer with Lab Rescue of Florida, and member of the inaugural class of the City of Fort Lauderdale’s Neighborhood Leadership Academy. A long-time participant with Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Broward County, she has been honored as Broward County Big Sister of the Year. She lives in Fort Lauderdale with her husband, Mike.
