Intimate Gospel Concert and Show Benefits the Embrace Girls Foundation
The Casino @ Dania Beach announced Grammy® Award-Winning Recording Artist Tamela Mann along with her husband David Mann, co-stars of Tyler Perry’s hit television show, Meet the Browns, are coming to Stage 954 for “An Intimate Evening with David and Tamela Mann” on Sunday, August 8 at 7 p.m.
The special, one-night only performance will benefit the Embrace Girls Foundation, a non-profit that provides uplifting, girl-centric programming for hundreds of girls in public and private elementary and middle schools in Miami-Dade and Broward counties.
Far from a traditional concert, the Mann’s will step off the stage and mingle with audience members at their tables, take photos, answer personal questions, and socialize all for a great cause.

The Mann’s, who share a passion for music, have enjoyed a longstanding career as entertainers and have starred in various Tyler Perry hit films and television shows. They were members of Kirk Franklin’s choir for many years before being discovered by Perry who kick-started their acting careers.
Tamela’s signature soprano voice, which brings a fresh and powerful sound to the world of contemporary gospel music, was awarded a Grammy for Best Gospel Performance in 2016 for her song “God Provides”. David is also an award-winning entertainer, receiving the NAACP Image® Award for Outstanding Actor In A Comedy Series for Meet The Browns alongside other awards.
Throughout their careers they’ve gained legions of fans with their soulful words of praise in their music and ability to bring joy and laughter to a set or stage.
“An Intimate Evening with David and Tamela Mann” will be MC’d by popular Hot 105 personality James T and WPLG reporter Alex Finnie.
