TooJay’s Deli Scores Hat-Trick at The Palm Beach Post’s “2020 Best of Palm Beach County” Awards

TooJay’s Deli won big at The Palm Beach Post’s “2020 Best of Palm Beach County” awards, taking the top prizes in the

Best Sandwich Shop, Best Dessert and Best Caterer categories. Taking place every February, the “Best of Palm Beach County” awards celebrate the finest that the Palm Beach community has to offer. The response this year was overwhelming, as over 250,000 votes were cast to determine the winners.

“We are thrilled and humbled to have been named the winner in three major categories that truly represent TooJay’s,” said TooJay’s President and CEO Max Piet. “Being recognized by the community that we serve makes this honor even more special.  We take great pride in being a Palm Beach-based restaurant and we thank all the guests and team members who voted for us.”

This recognition is among the latest accolades that the beloved deli has received. TooJay’s received the 2020 Best of Orlando Award for Deli, 2019 South Florida Gay News Golden Spoon Award for Outstanding New Spot in Fort Lauderdale, the 2019 and 2018 Restaurant Neighbor Award as a State Winner from the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation for its work with Feeding Florida, the 2018 Best of the Menu Tracker for its Nova Latkes from Nation’s Restaurant News, the 2018 and 2017 Dining Award for Best Deli from Orlando Magazine and two 2017 Foodie Awards for Best Deli and Best Take-Out from the Orlando Sentinel.

Founded in 1981, TooJay’s has grown to 30 restaurants and currently serves guests in Palm Beach and Broward counties, the Treasure Coast, the West Coast of Florida, the Orlando area and The Villages.
