(October 15, 2010) – Waste Management customers checking on service days and holiday schedules or needing additional information about their accounts can now interact in real time over the internet with a knowledgeable customer service representative via the Live Chat feature recently added to the company’s website at WM.com. Customer service representatives also will be available by phone or via email.
“The representatives we have chosen for full time coverage of our Live Chat have a background in handling many different types of requests, up to and including pricing for a new service and handling the paperwork to be distributed to our customers,” said Jodi Carver, Customer Engagement Manager for Waste Management of South Florida.
In addition to receiving a rapid reply to their questions, customers using Live Chat may request an email transcript of the session upon completion that will provide them with a record of the information that was presented to them. If a question posed during a Live Chat session cannot be resolved immediately, a representative will call the customer in response.
Live Chat is available Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 5 pm and Saturday 8 am to 12 noon.
