WM Unveils New WM Recycling Miami Construction & Demolition Facility

The facility increases recycling capacity to serve more customers in Miami-Dade County

WM opened WM Recycling Miami, the company’s newest construction and demolition (C&D) recycling facility in South Florida.

The 95,200-square-foot facility can process up to 1,200 tons per day of wood, concrete, ferrous and non-ferrous metals, and cardboard for recycling. The facility provides for increased recycling capacity in Miami-Dade County.

“WM continues its investment in recycling infrastructure with the opening of our new WM Recycling Miami facility to process construction and demolition materials, while conserving valuable landfill space,” said WM Florida Area Vice President David Myhan.  “We look forward to working together with Miami-Dade County, its cities and our construction customers to increase local recycling rates.”

WM marked the opening of the new facility with a ribbon cutting and tour on Wednesday, June 14.

WM Recycling Miami is located at 3401 NW 110th Street, Miami, FL 33167.

Marking the opening of WM Recycling Miami are WM Florida Area Vice President David Myhan, Site Manager Farley Clavijo, and Director of Post-Collections Matt Orr along with Miami-Dade County’s Senior Resilience Policy Manager Julie Dick, Intergovernmental Affairs Coordinator Stacy Santos and Resources Recovery Administrator Johanna Faddis.
