Pierson Grant Public Relations’ scope of services for Guy Harvey, a world-renowned marine artist, conservationist, scientist and entrepreneur, and his brand spans several touchpoints that include Guy Harvey Enterprises, the Guy Harvey Foundation and Nova Southeastern University’s Guy Harvey Research Institute.
For all three, our agency publicizes ongoing initiatives and continuously increases awareness for each on a global scale with institutional messaging focusing on education, research and ocean conservation. The result has been coverage on Cheddar, Discovery Channel, Today Show and Fox News Channel and in Newsweek, USA Today, Florida Trend, Abordo Magazine, Women’s Wear Daily and more.
For Guy Harvey entities, Pierson Grant also created and implemented a successful social media campaign targeting influencers that supports education, ocean conservation and sustainability. We worked with these influencers to highlight Guy Harvey apparel and merchandise, resulting in thousands of posts and stories.
For the Guy Harvey Foundation, Pierson Grant promotes educational initiatives throughout the U.S. From Wisconsin, North Dakota and Illinois to Florida, Connecticut and Virginia, generating media coverage of scholarships, programming, the innovative Guy Harvey educational curriculum and more.
With sharks seemingly always in the news, Pierson Grant leveraged the experts at the Guy Harvey Research Institute to secure timely seasonal PR by creating a “shark race,” pitting NBC reporter Kerry Sanders’ shark against that of NBC anchor Lester Holt. That resulted in a placement on the Today Show and NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt Kids Edition, as well as other international coverage for GHRI shark tagging and scientific research efforts.
