Historic Stranahan House Hosts Virtual History Happy Hours in January and February

Historic Stranahan House is kicking off the New Year with a Virtual History Happy Hour in January and February.

On Wednesday, January 20 at 6:30 p.m. Stranahan House historian Jonathan Axler will lead “The Story of Frank – Frank Stranahan, the Founding Father of Fort Lauderdale.”

On Wednesday, February 17 at 6:30 p.m., “The Architectural History of the Stranahan House” is led by architect, historian and community leader Anthony Abbate who will share the rich architectural history of this landmark museum in downtown Fort Lauderdale.

Tickets are $5 for members and $10 for non-members. All proceeds support the ongoing historic preservation of this local landmark and help fund the museum’s educational programs, including reduced-rate and free school programs for local students.
